Happy 30th Birthday Caroline!

On Saturday, we went to Caroline's 30th birthday party at the Glo Bar in Reading, where a very good time was had by all.

We can't decide between these two ace photos, so we will put them both on

That old classic "Four-fifths of a family" portrait (really sorry, Joe, we aren't sure where you were when this snap was taken!)

Just some of the ace decorations that Caroline had made to add that bit of extra sparkle to the venue

The smiley birthday girl

Thank you for the party - it was great fun!

Smiley recent photo - making a den out of the lounge coffee tables

Don't mess with me - I've got a tattoo!

Kezia was recently going through a box of things that we were saving until she is older. She found a box of these temporary tattoos, each in the shape of a wild animal's mouth. They are meant to be put on your thumb and forefinger to make a biting mouth, but her hands are too small, so we put this one, a shark, on her arm. She thought it was great fun.

Peppa Pig World!

Two weeks ago, the whole gang of kids and Mums went on a big day out to Peppa Pig World down near Southampton. Everyone had a brilliant time. They got to meet Peppa Pig herself (though Kezia wasn't fooled: "It was someone dressed up" she said, "I could feel their fingers inside the costume")

Up, up & away!

The first ride that everyone had a go on was the Balloon ride. It went pretty high! Kezia & Katie waited for their turn while Clare & Lily waved to everyone down below.

Bouncy castles are ALWAYS a favourite, and this huge one was no exception!

What's up doc?

Peppa Pig World is just part of a larger theme park called Paulton's Park, so there are plenty of non-pig things to see as well. Kezia found time for a cuddle with Bugs Bunny

Ship ahoy!! It was fun on Grandpa Pig's boat ride.

Jakey's first ride

The Peppa Pig train gave Jacob his first chance to go on a ride; we THINK he liked it....

Inside Peppa's house; Kezzie, Katie & Ellie thought it was hilarious that the pancakes were stuck to the ceiling!

Kezia & Katie - utterly worn out by the time they got home

Peppa Pig World had been completely brilliant!

Easter Egg Hunt

On Easter Monday, Auntie Joe organised an Easter Egg Hunt for the cousins. It was a great success and they all had lots of fun.

Setting off on the hunt

Examining their hoard!

Chaos as James launches himself into the paddling pool. Bekah and Kezia make sure they are well out of the way!

A day out at Wellington Country Park

On Easter Saturday, we went for a day out at Wellington Country Park, about 10 miles away, just into Hampshire. It was great. The weather was beautiful, and there was loads to do when we got there. Adventure playgrounds, sandpits, farm animals to see, a bouncy castle, shady spots for a picnic, lots of grass to run around on, a lake, ice cream - you name it, they had it! Kezia liked the bouncy castle best (she went on it three times!), though the ice cream came a close second.

Picnic time!

In a world of her own picking leaves and flowers...

Family portrait (sort of!)

A family snap before we left Wellington. Grandma took a better one on her camera, so we will post that when we have it. It was ace at Wellington Country Park - we had a lovely day.

Flowers in our hair

We all went a walk round the woods and park and the girls put flowers in their hair. All smiles when we got back.
