Happy 30th Birthday Caroline!

On Saturday, we went to Caroline's 30th birthday party at the Glo Bar in Reading, where a very good time was had by all.

The smiley birthday girl

Thank you for the party - it was great fun!

Don't mess with me - I've got a tattoo!

Kezia was recently going through a box of things that we were saving until she is older. She found a box of these temporary tattoos, each in the shape of a wild animal's mouth. They are meant to be put on your thumb and forefinger to make a biting mouth, but her hands are too small, so we put this one, a shark, on her arm. She thought it was great fun.

Peppa Pig World!

Two weeks ago, the whole gang of kids and Mums went on a big day out to Peppa Pig World down near Southampton. Everyone had a brilliant time. They got to meet Peppa Pig herself (though Kezia wasn't fooled: "It was someone dressed up" she said, "I could feel their fingers inside the costume")

Up, up & away!

The first ride that everyone had a go on was the Balloon ride. It went pretty high! Kezia & Katie waited for their turn while Clare & Lily waved to everyone down below.

In Madame Gazelle's school.......

....meeting Peppa, George and Suzy Sheep

What's up doc?

Peppa Pig World is just part of a larger theme park called Paulton's Park, so there are plenty of non-pig things to see as well. Kezia found time for a cuddle with Bugs Bunny

Jakey's first ride

The Peppa Pig train gave Jacob his first chance to go on a ride; we THINK he liked it....

Our chalk artwork

After tea this evening, we all went out with our set of big coloured chalks and drew pictures all over our drive. Sportacus and Peppa Pig put in an appearance, as well as a heron, Stephanie from Lazy Town, a cat, a mouse, a frog and a space rocket!

Easter Egg Hunt

On Easter Monday, Auntie Joe organised an Easter Egg Hunt for the cousins. It was a great success and they all had lots of fun.

A day out at Wellington Country Park

On Easter Saturday, we went for a day out at Wellington Country Park, about 10 miles away, just into Hampshire. It was great. The weather was beautiful, and there was loads to do when we got there. Adventure playgrounds, sandpits, farm animals to see, a bouncy castle, shady spots for a picnic, lots of grass to run around on, a lake, ice cream - you name it, they had it! Kezia liked the bouncy castle best (she went on it three times!), though the ice cream came a close second.

Family portrait (sort of!)

A family snap before we left Wellington. Grandma took a better one on her camera, so we will post that when we have it. It was ace at Wellington Country Park - we had a lovely day.

Flowers in our hair

We all went a walk round the woods and park and the girls put flowers in their hair. All smiles when we got back.
