Pokey LaFarge & The South City Three

We had fantastic fun at the Pokey LaFarge & The South City Three gig in London on Monday night. It was at 'Koko', formerly the Camden Palace Theatre, at Mornington Crescent, which was a great venue, and the band were utterly superb. Can't wait for them to be back over in Europe next spring.

On the way to Wokingham today to see Leo & Ava

A quick bit of ad hoc ballet from Kezia, on a wall in Wokingham!

Johnny, Leo & Ava going wild at the park

Kezia & Katie, just before the "Great Mud Disaster"

Katie & Jakey came to play yesterday and we went to feed the ducks. A few moments after this photo, at the very next puddle, Katie slipped headlong into the mud and was COVERED from head to foot. Oops!!

Jakey Creech having fun with Kezia's old baby toys

Tranmere at Bournemouth

I went to watch Tranmere's unbeaten start to the league season come to an end at Bournemouth yesterday. We lost 3-1. Here we are defending a corner in the first half.

The "Giant Floating Head Stand"

It must be disconcerting for club legend Steve Fletcher to come on as sub and see his own giant dismembered head floating above the crowd!

Some of the Super White Army at Bournemouth.

There was a huge turnout, though when I took this photo at half-time, a lot of them were getting coffee etc

Rovers eventually attack in the second half (to no avail sadly!)

It was great fun to go to the game, and especially to catch up with old friend Ally, but Tranmere were awful, especially in the second half. Still, trivia fans, the game did set a personal record for length-of-time watching the same player. I watched goalie David James playing for Watford back in 1990, and here he was, a mere 22 years later, still going strong for Bournemouth!
