On Sunday, we went to Surrey to see our friends, The Dewis family, Caragh & Paul and their girls Hannah and Tamsyn. We went for a walk up Box Hill and back to their house for a barbecue afterwards. It was great fun.

Kezia and Hannah. They were born on the same day, and in this photo they could almost pass for twins.

Last Saturday, Kezia's street dance group, The G Street Dance Company, performed at Mortimer Fair - it was brilliant.

First the whole group performed in the 'arena'. Luckily the threatening rain clouds blew in the other direction!

Then Kezia's group (the younger kids) did their own routine. In the second performance, Kezia even did her own bit of freestyle. She was ace!!

At the end, Kezia's teacher Gaston showed us a few of his moves - he was pretty impressive.

Kezia loved having a go at ferret racing at the Mortimer Show. (The Harris Hawk was less interested!)

It was great to go to Kezia's School Sports Day last week. Here she is limbering up.

The first event was the javelin!

Kezia was ace at the hurdle-and-run-back race. Zoom!!

One-handed hockey dribbling was a bit tricky!

Next was a combination event. First run through the 'ladder' laid out on the ground.....

....and then crawl under the net (despite the 'helpers' doing their best to trap the children).

She finished off with the sprint. She loved Sports Day.

Kezia had great fun at Mini Kickers a week ago. She is getting really keen on the idea of playing more football.
