Our story of exploring the big wide world together

Yesterday we took Kezia and Katie to the footy at Maidenhead. We had a pre-match warm-up in the cafe first.

The girls getting a closer look at the action! They spent most of the match off exploring the ground.

The score was 2-1 to Gosport, despite the best efforts of the girls to encourage Maidenhead.

A 'pile of football fans' selfie!

Last weekend we went and cheered on our friends in the Reading Half Marathon. They all did really well.

Kezia loved all the different costumes people had on. These Lego people and lots of Minions were her favourites.

Malta - the football photos - this is the somewhat unprepossessing Victor Tedesco Stadium, Hamrun's own Theatre of Dreams.

Just follow the crowd! The spectators all had to sit along one side, but you still had to choose who you were supporting - this was the Mosta 'end'.

A couple of match shots. Mosta in blue v Qormi in yellow. Qormi won 3-1 with two very late goals stealing the victory.

Soaking up the sun at half time - really very pleasant indeed.

Glass barriers showing the crowd segregation - strange for such a low-key game.

Malta - the tourist photos - first stop Rabat and the gateway in to the old walled citadel, Mdina.

Mdina cathedral.

On the walls in Mdina, looking down to the sprawl of urban Malta to the east.

Two nice snapshots on the outskirts of Mdina.

In St. Julian's, close to our hotel.

In Valletta - much nicer than the urban splurge just outside the city walls.

Looking across from Valletta to Sliema - prettier from further away than close up! It was a great trip to Malta. 17 UEFA countries ticked off now!
