Team Browning's Adventures
Our story of exploring the big wide world together
Sunday, 26 June 2016
Our manager at work recently did a charity bike ride across Ireland. The rest of us kept pace with him on a static bike in the foyer. Here I am, clocking up some miles.
Kezia gets a flying start in her sprint race at school Sports Day. She came 4th out of 8, and her house, Sahara, won the overall team competition.
With Abbie and Ruby waiting for the Woodley Carnival Parade.
You could say I was well prepared for Euro 2016.
Kezia certainly got into the swing of the first England game!
We had a brilliant trip up to Merseyside at the start of June - beginning with a proper touristy day in Liverpool.
Radio City Tower.
Limbo dancers!

Kezia had fun mooching in Waterstone's (this looks like a publicity photo!)
She even met Professor Snape from the Harry Potter books.
Next to some ornate gates in the city centre.

It was great down at the Albert Dock.
It was pretty windy!
Kezia was really interested in the Titanic displays at the Maritime Museum. She even got to dress up as a cabin boy!
Kezia's portrait of Mummy & Daddy at the Albert Dock.
I was pleased to find the Liverpool Pilot Service building, where my Grandad used to be based for work.
Liverpool? Everton? Nope....Chelsea!
A nice shot of the Three Graces at the Pier Head in Liverpool.
Kezia found a new friend at Lime Street station. A great afternoon around Liverpool.

It was lovely to see (Great-) Gran - we had a really nice afternoon out at Thurstaston.
At Thurstaston.
Outside the Premier Inn, our home from home.
Hamilton Square and Birkenhead Town Hall are really quite picturesque in the sunshine.
Frequent Electric Trains! (We caught one to Hoylake)
We went to Hoylake and walked along to Red Rocks - the beach seemed to stretch for miles!
Beach selfie.
Ooh!! Mud!!
This was just about the only water Kezia could find - the tide was VERY far out!
It was boiling hot weather (Can you spot Kezia teetering along in the background?)
Beach cricket at Red Rocks - a fun way to round off our trip.
