The 3 cousins going wild in the pool

Modelling the easter bonnet Kezia made with Auntie Joe

A day out at Wellington Country Park

On Easter Saturday, we went for a day out at Wellington Country Park, about 10 miles away, just into Hampshire. It was great. The weather was beautiful, and there was loads to do when we got there. Adventure playgrounds, sandpits, farm animals to see, a bouncy castle, shady spots for a picnic, lots of grass to run around on, a lake, ice cream - you name it, they had it! Kezia liked the bouncy castle best (she went on it three times!), though the ice cream came a close second.

Picnic time!

In a world of her own picking leaves and flowers...

Family portrait (sort of!)

A family snap before we left Wellington. Grandma took a better one on her camera, so we will post that when we have it. It was ace at Wellington Country Park - we had a lovely day.

Flowers in our hair

We all went a walk round the woods and park and the girls put flowers in their hair. All smiles when we got back.

Our lilac bush

The lilac bush in our garden is looking lovely at the moment, though sadly it only seems to last for 2 weeks of the year.

Hazard in the security area!

A couple of times lately, we have been to this particular playground in the far corner of Palmer Park, where we don't often go. We have dubbed it the 'Faraway Park'. One thing that Kezzie particularly likes is this slide which is made of rollers, like something you find at an airport baggage security check. It is fun.

Kezia can write her name

Kezia has been quite keen on writing her name with help for a while now, but about 10 days ago, she got a piece of paper and a pen, and a few moments later said: "Mummy I have written my name". This is the result. Clever little thing!
