Double Trouble!

Uncle Mike & Daddy took Katie & Kezia out in the double buggy today; just up to Woodley to do a few things. It was fun on the way, though by the time we headed home the novelty of being side by side had started to wear off.....

Bobbletastic

.....when we got to Woodley the girls had fun on the playthings in the precinct, while Daddy & Uncle Mike enjoyed a takeaway coffee. It was cold though, despite the sunshine, so the girls were done up in their bobble hats.

Promoting Football Harmony

At the end of January, I went to watch Tranmere play at Charlton with Matilda and Will. We went for a pre-match drink at a really great pub near the ground, The Rose of Denmark. The Charlton fans there take a photo of the away fans, and at the end of the season, they make a huge framed photo montage of all the away fans that season and put the frame up on the pub wall. It is great. It was a really friendly pub, what football should be all about, and we are really pleased to take our places on the 'Wall of Fame'. Thanks to David Hatch and the addicks.fotopages.com website for the picture.

Not very well!

Kezia really isn't very well today. Even travelling up to playgroup with Katie in a double buggy wasn't enough to cheer her up for long. She has a cough and cold and said she had tummyache, so I dosed her up on Calpol, and she fell asleep on the sofa almost straight away, cuddling Dr.Bear. (Current favourite plastic 'Pink Fairy' is there too, just in case). Poor little mite.

A new 'do'

The other day Kezia and I had a game of hairdressers. Inspired by photos she had recently seen of her cousin, Bekah, wearing bunches, she announced that she wanted to put my hair in bunches with a bobble she found. Then I persuaded her that she should have bunches too! She looked really cute, but sadly she decided that she didn't want to keep them in when she got dressed for the day. (The blob on her face is jam from her breakfast!)

She was so smiley and cute

My two cutie-pies :-)

Family trip to Dinton Pastures

Yesterday was bright and sunny (if a little chilly in the wind), so we went to Dinton Pastures country park. We pulled on our wellies and Kezzie had her waterproof trousers on - I know I'm biased, but she just looked so cute! We jumped in lots of puddles, played in the playground area, fed the ducks, then went to the cafe for a cuppa and a cookie. It was brilliant!

There were LOADS of puddles - we had a ball (pun not intended)

Playing football with Daddy (I love the action shot with the ball in the air)

She's really clever with the cargo net - she can climb almost to the top, although she can't yet climb back down!

Feeding the ducks, geese and scary swans - they're bigger than Kezia and really bold!

Brave girl

Kezia was a very brave little girl today - she had her swine flu jab. She wasn't too keen on the needle, but soon got over it and was playing on the roundabout within 5 minutes! She's been right as rain all evening, so I think she'll be fine. It was a good excuse for Mummy to rush home from work to make sure she was OK, though! (This photo has nothing to do with her jab, it's just very cute and we don't have any other up-to-date photos.)
