Auntie Matilda came to visit

Yesterday, Auntie Matilda came to visit us for the day. It was ace fun. We walked down to the garden centre for lunch (It was FREEZING, we were glad to get indoors!). Afterwards, we popped into the fish / aquatics place next door to have a look at what they had. Daddy's favourite thing was the 'Assassin' snails. Just how slow off the mark would you have to be, to be assassinated by a snail?

Reading stories with Auntie Matilda

Now then, let's perch Dr. Bear on your head!

Steady on, Dr. Bear! No toppling!

Hooray! Did it!

It was ACE to see Auntie Matilda.

New Big Girl's Bed!

Kezia had outgrown her cot-base bed, so recently we ordered a brand-new full-size Big Girl's bed from Argos. It arrived on Wednesday and Daddy even managed to build it with no trouble! Kezia is delighted with it!

A good time was had by all!

Our beautiful preschool girl

Kezia was very excited about starting preschool last week, these pics are from her first day. She has been for two sessions so far and really enjoyed it. Her key-workers (she has two because it's a job-share) both told me that she was very confident and just got on with playing and doing the things she wanted to. Bless her, so grown up!

Kezia - keen to improve Daddy's hairstyle, but somewhat distracted by Match of the Day on TV! That's my girl!

Have suitcase, will travel.... (at Guildford station on the way home from Steve & Cath's; we think this photo is a hoot!)

Happy New Year!

We had a great time visiting Steve, Cath & Thomas in Surrey for New Year - we go nearly every year and it is always great fun.
