Mini holiday in Kington, Herefordshire

The week after Easter, we had a mini holiday at Kington in Herefordshire. It was absolutely brilliant. Just what we needed. We all had such fun.

We stopped off en route and had a look around Hereford Cathedral

Kezia was fascinated by all the tombs and how long everyone had been dead!

Church House in Kington, our wonderful home from home for two nights

Before tea it was time to check out the 3 huge trampolines in the garden!

The furthest away one was off-limits (too rickety), but the first two were great fun!

First evening in Kington: a pub meal at the Swan Inn, with added jenga!

The garden had a swing too!

Just behind Kezia, you can see Smithers, one of the two cats at Church House (The other one was called Otto).

More messing about on the trampolines

At the Small Breeds Farm & Owl Sanctuary

On our full day in Kington, we spent the morning at the nearby Small Breeds Farm & Owl Sanctuary. It was brilliant fun. They had oodles of stuff to see, and you get close up to all sorts of animals.

Hello!

Kezia was very sweet with the mischievous baby goats. Now, come here....

Got you!

We got a feeding bucket for the animals. These goats were very keen!

There was quite a queue for lunch

Our trip to Kington

The week after Easter we had a wonderful 3 days away at Kington in Herefordshire. Loads more photos to come, but here are a few of our walk up Hergest Ridge to the Whetstone - it was ace!

The view!

Looking east, we were standing on the highest bit of land in that direction until the Ural mountains in Russia. Amazing!

Daddy & Kezia at the Whetstone - still in England, but everything in the background is Wales

It was windy up there!

Daddy's girls on the Whetstone

Team Browning at the top of the hill - we made it!

Mummy & Daddy on Hergest Ridge - one of Kezia's less good efforts!
