Take one tree.......

....and add some decorations!

The finished tree!

Topped off with some festive visitors.

Our Christmas tree chooser!

Time for a bit of a scout around the Christmassy garden centre.

Fun at the cafe before collecting our tree.

The patent Browning Tree Transporter to get the tree home!

Kezia's signed book!

Really proud of Kezia and her friend Katie. On their own initiative, they raised money for ABC to Read, the literacy charity of which Sarah is a trustee, by having a loom band sale at their school. Then, at an ABC to Read event, Sarah could hand over the money on their behalf, and one of the charity's patrons, children's author Dan Freedman, gave the girls signed copies of his latest book as a thank you. A win-win! Go girls!

Kezia singing 'Santa Lucia' in her Christmas performance - it was ace.

Terrific lecture by linguist David Crystal at Reading University last week - really fascinating.

Kezia flying through the air.

Last weekend we went to Sol Joel park (that we haven't really 'discovered' before) - Kezia's favourite thing was the parkour / free running course, which she absolutely threw herself into (and over, under and round). She just loved it, and it was brilliant to see the determination to succeed in getting up, over and across the obstacles, and the sheer delight when she managed it; our confident, happy, wonderful, not-so-little girl.

They have cool 'stuff' at Sol Joel park.

Funky frog rubbish bins at Sol Joel park.

Happy Birthday Pumpkin. 2 years young on November 1st!!
