Kezia's epic day as a mascot at Chelsea Ladies.

Way back in March, we filled in an application form for Kezia to be a mascot at Chelsea Ladies FC. We didn't tell Kezia, as we thought it would be over-subscribed and that she wouldn't get a turn. However, fair play, they got in touch ahead of the last home game of the season v Reading Women and invited Kezia to be a mascot. It was completely brilliant. Everyone at the club was so nice and really went out of their way to make Kezia feel welcome. She had a wonderful time and was absolutely thrilled to bits. It was ace.

Here we go.....

Our spot in the stands - it got very full, we were just nice and early.

Getting ready to go into the dressing room.

Kezia was thrilled to bits to go into the dressing room and meet all the players - just look at that smile!

With goalie and Rio silver medallist, Hedwig Lindahl.

With defensive rock, Millie Bright.

With the captain, Katie Chapman, who was really nice.

With Jade Bailey.

With Bethany England & Drew Spence.

With her absolute favourite, Fran Kirby - all the players were so nice and friendly.

In the tunnel with captain, Katie Chapman.

Leading the teams out.

Kezia leads the handshakes.

Team photo - 10 full internationals, 1 Under-23 international, and 2 very smiley mascots.

Back L-R: Hedwig Lindahl, Ana Borges, Ji So-Yun, Gemma Davison, Karen Carney, Niamh Fahey. Front L-R: Claire Rafferty, Kezia, Katie Chapman, Jess (the other mascot), Millie Bright, Eni Aluko, Hannah Blundell.

A job well done - the mascots make their way off the field.

A token match shot - Chelsea won an exciting match 3-2. It was just an ace, ace day!!

A fun trip to Pizza Express with Katie, Molly and Rebekah, to celebrate Kezia's upcoming 9th (!) birthday - wow!

Kezia at her November Tekkers tournament - she loves her footy!

A frankly scary photo from our at-home Halloween meal.

Fun flying visit to Whitstable - via the John Betjeman statue at St. Pancras.

Not something you see every day - an abandoned Soviet submarine on the Medway.

We got to Whitstable - and headed straight for the beach!

Evening view along the shore.

The Brownings' spiritual home (apparently!) - we used to be Whitstable oyster fishermen, you know (way back when.....)

There's always time for an ice cream.

Loved these cool little seats!

Lovely Friday morning at Tankerton beach (with wind farm in the background).

On the seafront walk at Tankerton.

We really liked the working harbour.

Faces in the wall. (This was part of some bench seating down at the harbour).

An old diver's helmet fixed to a bench - every kid who went past posed for a photo like this.

A few more at the harbour beach.
