We had already had some snow last Friday, but on Monday afternoon this week, we got a REALLY heavy snowfall. It snowed heavily for about 7 hours and was the most snow I have seen in over 25 years. Of course, it caused complete travel chaos across the whole town. Luckily the trains were running more or less normally, so we were able to get home fairly easily, unlike anyone who needed to use a car (gridlock) or a bus (all cancelled). This is the view from our front door.
